Had a pleasant few hours at Sudbury Hall which was enjoyable but we could see there is still lots to do. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable which made it more interesting. The Museum of Childhood was good and the children seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the games they could play with. It was good to see the girls playing with dolls houses and not iPads and for us oldies brought back some memories of the toys we played with. It was a lovely day weather wise when we visited which helped make the day but we were hoping there would be a walk around the lake sadly just a walk and seats to the lovely lake.

Dangerous parking on the Main Road is the fault of thoughtless lazy people and not the National Trust but it`s worrying. There is a free car park a few minutes walk away along a pleasant countryside path and there were spaces available. The gardens were lovely but very crowded as it`s school holidays. We decided to cut short our visit and come again when it`s quieter although it`s very encouraging to see so many children enjoying their visit.

As National Trust members this is a great day out. Amazing Stately home and Children's Museum kept the children very happy. We were tempted to visit the local for lunch (Vernon Arms) but so many bad reviews here we decided against and eat at the cafe. Best decision, food staff and service were excellent and at a very reasonable cost.

Fab day out for all ages - under 5s are free so we paid £25 for 2 adults and 2over 5s on a family ticket which included gift aid. Lots to see and do, lawn games outside too,

Free parking and a short walk into the grounds. We only did the museum and not he hall too as that was quite expensive.

The Victorian school was a favourite with my group and the boys loved the chimney talk and climbing round.

We played games in the yard and was taken back to my own childhood with lots of great memories

Would definitely recommend
