We started our bank holiday with an excellent meal and comfortable accommodation in this great pub, set in an olde world village.

If you like good beer - the real kind not fizzy pop, hearty food and a great atmosphere you could spend a week or two here.
We just had a meal and a couple of fine pints. The weather was cold and the fire was burning, there is a large garden which would surely be a wonderful place to lose a summer afternoon!

so friendly with all the comforts of home. will be back there soon. Food was out of this world. Staff and locals go out of their way to make you welcome, nothings too much. Big thanks to Ben and Jan, not to mention mike and richard. Good look with the retirement richard. Donna and Chaz x

Room Tip: number two has the comfiest bed ever and over looks the village
