I took 8 family members here for Sunday the lunch. The Sunday roast was amazing, a choice of chicken, beef or pork, I asked for chicken and pork and they were happy to oblige. There was a choice of the small roast at £6.50 or the large roast at £8.50. I had the large roast dinner and it was enormous and delicious and all the usual trimmings were included. All this and fantastic beer. We all went home happy and it cost less than I expected.

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Sandstone trail. Stuart the landlord welcomed us and showed us to our cosy room. Comfortable clean bed with good quality bedding and towels were provided. We decided to eat there in the evening and had a lovely meal served on upper terrace able to enjoy evening sunshine. All staff very friendly. Breakfast delicious - consisted of cereals/cooked breakfast/toast and coffee, ample amount to eat. Despite being a pub didn't notice any noise from the bar when in bed. Many Thanks Elaine and Carole

We went to The Foresters for a family Sunday Lunch as it is a local pub. We reserved a table and everything was ready when we arrived. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious and there was a good choice. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their food. Large portions and all freshly cooked. Definitely a return visit in order.

Hubby and I spent 4 nights at the Foresters Arms when we were visiting Tarporley for the first time. We loved our stay in this down to earth, friendly welcoming pub. We found the staff all friendly and genuine, the food hearty and wholesome (and plenty of it!!), the bar welcoming with friendly, local customers. Our room was small but spotlessly clean with tea/coffee and biscuits, quite a large shower, and no noise at night. Free Wifi which worked in bedroom as well as bar area. We'd have no hesitation in staying here if we were in the area again. No complaints whatsoever.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front which was very quiet.
