Made our reservation at the last minute and the room was perfect: spacious, clean, air conditioned, great WiFi. Breakfast the next was simple but to good, and the hotel is perfectly situated to visit the Zacì cenote or wander in the centre. Top marks.

We went here after two nights at another hotel which was way too expensive. Wish we had come here from the start. We stayed in the Sisal Room. Colonial Gothic decor aND furniture...private jacuzzi, patio with rocking chairs. Just amazing! The grounds were small and well kept. Just around the corner from the cathedral of San Gervasio. Breakfast was simple but tasty..served in the outdoor patio. I loved this place!

A beautiful colonial house in the center of the city that I highly recommend. The colonial decoration style bring you in the past, the garden is refreshing and the breakfast is very delicious. We had the master room with jacuzzi, was fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Tia Micha and in the lovely small town of Valladolid, which is so pleasant for strolling around and seeing lots of local scenes. It was great being so close to the main square and our favourite restaurant, El Atrio de Mayab, whose food and garden setting were so good we went back 3 evenings in a row. It's also close to the very best coffee in town - at the Coffee Bike Station. All the staff are charming and helpful, and they contacted us immediately when we foolishly left an iPhone in the safe, offering to send it to us, and keeping it safely till we returned to collect it.

We would have loved a sofa or armchairs in our room rather than the dining setting, as while we were there it was too hot in the afternoons to sit out - and also a little more breakfast choice for those of us who only want continental breakfasts. But these are very minor quibbles. Overall, this small hotel provides excellent value.

After initial issues with early arrival for check in we were shown the room and it was surprisingly cute. First time in our travel we need to use padlock to lock hotel room, but that is part of the charm. Hotel is a real gam. The room was decorated with charm and stile and breakfast was really good. We were impressed with receiving an early email asking about allergies and breakfast preferences. Impressive
The taxi we ordered to go to Playa did not show up and they manage to arrange another one in minutes for the same price, If ever back we will definitely stay again in Casa Tia Micha. This guys know how to run a hotel and what customer service is.
Try to be there on Sunday, great music and dance in the park. Yes we did try dancing too.

Room Tip: upstairs rooms are away from any foot traffic
