I can't say enough about how wonderful this little hotel is. It is just far enough away from the square to be quiet and quaint, but close enough that we could walk to dinner or the square every evening. The grounds are impeccably clean and bursting with color. It seemed as though there was always a staff member sweeping the sidewalks or just around the corner if you ever needed anything. While we spend most of the time at Tia Micha, but we did go over to Marlene and cooled off in the plunge pool. It is strikingly cold, a bit small, but we enjoyed it. Our stay in the Sisal Suite was great- the hot water was plentiful and the refreshments in the mini fridge were appreciated. The breakfasts were above and beyond what we expected. Try the Mayan/Mexican coffee instead of the Americano. I think it had brown sugar, cinnamon, and anise. Very different. It was delicious. Overall, though, the hotel staff truly made our stay perfect. Everyone was so kind and accommodating- it is very clear the hotels are a labor of love.

Room Tip: The Sisal Suite was very roomy. No windows, but a really pretty patio out front of it.

A wonderfully sweet address, very good quality price ratio, delicious breakfast, really delightful hotel. Comfortable, quiet, cool rooms with great toiletries. Valladolid is well worth a visit. there is a lot to do in and around town! Fully recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights, mainly so we were quite close to Chichen Itza. The gardens were lovely but lacked loungers to chill on. We were slightly disappointed in our room (San Juan) which was dark and had no patio outside the room. We would have preferred to be in the main hotel - Marlene - which is where we chose to have our breakfast. Breakfasts were very good and the staff were very nice.

The service at this hotel was excellent. The room was clean. There was a full breakfast in the morning in a beautiful garden setting. Parking readily available on the street. Grounds were well-tended. In walking distance of all attractions.

A realy nice little place, close to the main plaza, nicely furnished and well cared for, it is apparent that the owners take pride in their property. They serve a delicious breakfast in a charming garden area. Good and inexpensive laundry service....The staff are all excelent and appear to be very happy in their work....well done.
