“Being spoiled in the best way”
Reviewed 4 May 2011

We ate 3 times in a row at Maya Luna and everything we ordered was fresh, delightful and perfect proportioned. Surely all the food is prepared with loads of attention. We couldn´t resist to start with the best margarita ever and guacamole every time!
The service was personal and friendly. We felt very welcome.

“Absolutly the Best food and fun you could ask for!!!”
Reviewed 5 April 2011

We visited Maya Luna in March 2011. This was our 5th time there! It has always been consistently fabulous! The pineapple chicken is the best but everything on the menu is wonderful! We had a group of 20 and the kids had a great time snorkeling and the adults had a relaxing day on the beach. Several had massages on the beach which Carolein arranged in advance for us, very worth the money! We will continue to visit this most wonderful treasure every time we are in port in Costa Maya! A definite must for anyone wanting a relaxing place with great food and drinks!!!

“Kind, courteous, delicious, what more do you want?”
Reviewed 18 March 2011

We visited family in Majahual for a few days this February, taking a break from the hustle of the all inclusive near Playa Del Carmen. We were looking forward to rest and relaxation and didn't have a lot of other expectations. Imagine our surprise when our family took us to see Carolien at the Maya Luna?? Great atmosphere, fresh EVERYTHING, and service with a smile. Place this restaurant at the top of your "to-do" list when visting the area. We were there in the evening, but I can only imagine how beautiful it would have been to sit on the beach after an amazing meal. Thanks again to Carolien for another fantastic Mexican memory!!

“Definately going back!!”
Reviewed 5 January 2011

My husband and I stopped here at the advice of a friend and was I glad we did. Maya Luna in so comfortable and inviting it will be the first place we go when we return this year. It was raining and the wind was blowing hard so we ate inside, but the patio looked very comfortable with a great oceanside view. My husband had a chicken dish that was delicious, but..... the stuffed pineapple I had, their house special, was just about the best thing I've ever eaten!. Shrimp, Rice, Cashews lots of other good stuff. If you go to Mahahual, it's a must. Another thing I really liked about Maya Luna was it was just a nice cozy place to hang out and have a couple drinks on the beach, even if your not eating. Carolien, the owner, was very nice and helpful with info on the area. Can't wait to go again!!! .

“Not to be missed...”
Reviewed 10 September 2010

A friend and I travel to Majahual in March and stayed at the Balamku Inn which was fabulous. Since Balamku doesn't serve dinner, we traveled out and about in search of good eats and we found it at Maya Luna right down the road.

The restaurant is wonderful and has a nice porch to sit on as well, weather permitting. The owner, Carolien is warm and inviting. Service was great! It was my friend's birthday and Carolien and her staff put together a very special meal for us of fresh seafoods and such that was incredible.

The not to be missed dish is the house specialty of shrimp stuffed pineapple...amazing!
