Location to Mont Sutton - within 1km, convenient and there is also a shuttle service three times in the morning for guests
Pet friendly
nice trail in back of hotel/chalets to walk with dog along a river (slope to get down too, so the need of gripped shoes/boots) is suggested
Chalet for six equipped with that same amount of plates and utensils so if you need more, suggestion to bring your own if you plan on staying a few nights.
Pull out couch not comfortable so I wouldn’t suggest counting it in as a place to sleep.
Double beds in rooms
No daily room service so plan on asking front desk for extra towels, toilet paper, etc,, if you run out - a point that Managment should improve on as guests should not be the ones to ask for fresh towels, etc.. if they stay more than atleast three nights for the amount they pay for a night stay.
Front desk greeting pleasant

My wife and I have stayed at Le Montagnard 3 times over 5 years and twice with our dog. Each time we stayed has been an awesome experience. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, even when we drove all night from Ontario, speak very basic francais and showed up way before our check in time once. The allowed us to sleep
On the common room couches while I our dog hung out with the staff members dog. They had a room ready for us well before they were supposed to and we really appreciated it. We stayed in the studio suite each time, which is not an overly large space but provides everything that we needed and was more than enough to keep us happy for our 4 night trips. We cooked all of our meals with the oven, microwave and our slow cooker, which made staying there even more cost effective. The room was clean and bed was well kept and easy to sleep on. The hot tub was hard to get a spot in at times but staying mid week afforded us some nice hot tub sessions after being on the slopes. If the hot tub is full the bathtubs are a decent size, and we're also relaxing. Le montagnard is less than 5 minutes from Sutton and is less than an hours drive from 4-5 resorts in Quebec and Vermont. My wife and I would highly recommend le montagnard to anyone with a pet, simple tastes and a love for the out doors. We definitely plan on staying there again.

No Wifi in my room, pull out bed was so uncomfortable (could feel every spring and creaked with every movement), and no staff came to clean or restock the towels during my stay. The food was ok but not enough.

Myself and a group of friends just stayed at Le Montagnard this past weekend. We rented one of the apartments, which was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The snow conditions didn't cooperate for us, so the hot tub was a welcome amenity. Apartment was cozy, had everything we needed and was very close to the mountain. Thanks for a good stay!
