While on a cruise, we stopped in Charlottetown, PEI. We had signed up for the Culinary Walking Tour ahead of time and hoped it would be worth doing. It turned out to be way more than we had expected! Our guide, Bill Dobbin, was fun, very enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable about this charming seaport town. We sampled oysters, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, mussels, scone-like pastries, craft beer, homemade French fries, and more. Every merchant we visited was gracious and welcoming. In between stops, Bill shared stories that brought the history and development of Charlottetown to life. We think this is a "must do" tour for anyone visiting Charlottetown for the first time.
