We walked into the restaurant to see a small, charming space. Our arrival was at 6 pm and we were immediately seated by our server, Saul. (half an hour later and we would probably have had to wait for a table). Saul explained the menu and started us off with an appetizer of home made chips, guacamole and salsa fresca - very tasty. Our drinks arrived promptly as well - Margarita Bull - a margarita with Corona. Really good - but one was enough.
The chef, Estuardo Alvares, stopped by the table. He explained that all the food is made to order and that with the exception of the Burrito and the Chimichanga (TexMex) the entire menu is authentic Mexican cuisine.
We asked Saul for recommendations and ordered the Chiles Rellenos - peppers stuffed with beef, pork and veg served on corn tortillas and accompanied by rice and Pico de Gallo - and the fish tacos - perfectly cooked tilapia on soft tacos served with vegetables, Chipotle sauce, beans and rice. Both dishes were delicious!
We ended the meal with Tres Leches Cake - soft, creamy and decadent!
We definitely will visit this restaurant again!
