My husband & I stayed here one night on Sept 24th. What a lovely place to stay overlooking the water! We even got to see the entire “Eagle family”, which were flying right over us! The owner was very friendly & gave us great suggestions of places to eat. It was a great way to start our adventure on the Cabot Trail! Not fancy but clean & charming!

Very comfortable and attractive accommodations. Everything was wonderful. Loved the full sized coffee pot, generous bucket full of ice, comfortable bed, and beautiful setting. The restaurant next door was great too. Couldn't ask for more!

Beautiful view from the waterfront rooms, modern all through, very clean. Great service all around and super friendly staff. Yet another place to recommend as we continue our Cabot trail trip. We have a beautiful country with great people!

We stayed at St Ann's Motel for 1 night in July. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is no coffee or breakfast provided, but there is a restaurant next door. We spent 10 days in New Brunswick and on the Cabot Trail, and this motel was the most expensive...I felt like a bit of a hostage.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be the same - a small, strip of motel rooms.

We stayed here for 1 night in August at the end of a journey around Cape Breton. Many of the lodgings on the cape are older, small, family-run places, with a lot of charm if you are willing to overlook the outdated decorating and lack of chain-hotel amenities. Our room was small but clean and quiet, with a fabulous view of the lake out a large window. If this had been in the U.S, some sprawling big-name hotel would have been all over this spot. Much more attractive as a small motel, with a wonderful restaurant next door. No a/c but the breeze keeps it cool at night.
