The village of Trinity is very pretty
Worth a short visit we stayed at the artisan inn as it has excellent write ups . The food is excellent they a very good chef there very friendly and nice service . Sadly the room we stayed in cove room wasn't what we expected a bit basic in truth although very clean the bed was hard & the problem with staying in an old property there is no insulation for noise so you hear everyone!!
Our fault really we should realised this was going to be the case .
Not for us sadly .

Spent two nights at the inn while visiting Trinity. Lots of things to do and see in Trinity and nearby. Staff and food were excellent and facilities were very comfortable. Would highly recommend both Trinity and Artisan Inn.

The place was spotless. Big kitchen and shared livingroom with 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 with twin beds, 1 with queen. Bathrooms very spacious and up to date. Staff were amazing, The restaurant was lovely for dinner and pre dinner drinks on the dock watching the iceburgs made my day. The chef is very good. Continental breakfast is included when staying at one of the historic properties.

Room Tip: We were in the Lighthouse view house in the twin bed room. It was lovely!

My sister and I rented the Harbour House (three bedroom) through the Artisan Inn. This is a family run inn and everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and informative. We enjoyed both our lovely house and the on-site restaurant. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the inn's deck, watching the changing colors of an iceberg that was almost within our reach while wrapped in blankets (provided by the staff at the inn) sipping the inn's signature rum and partridge berry drink. Upon our arrival, we received a comprehensive overview of the area. If we forgot anything, there was ample literature available in our house. Clear directions were provided for all of our excursions. Trinity and the surrounding area is beautiful. We enjoyed exploring Eliston, Bonaventure, Bonavista, and Trinity itself. If you are in the area, this is the place you want to stay.

What a beautiful and special two night stay we had at Artisan Inn. Stayed in Campbell House and Barbour House. Campbell was exactly like my grandmothers house back home in Ireland. Beautiful meal in restaurant on second night. Highly recommend for the location, accommodation and friendly staff.

Thank you for your kind comments. The house was originally built for an Irish school teacher who arrived in 1840 in Trinity, therefore I appreciate your remark about your grandmother's home. We tried to be as authentic as possible without foregoing 21st Century comforts.
