A group of us were mountain biking #thegreattrail and chose the Victorian Inn because of location, price, layout, and kitchenette.
We received far more than expected. The owners are very generous with their recommendations and offerings for bike storage and a river float at no extra charge.
We highly recommend the Victorian Inn. Stay with owners rather than hotel chains.

Room Tip: separate bedroom for 2 plus main room with bed and kitchenette.

We stayed here 2 nights while in Grand Forks. It is right off the hiway making it very convenient although a little noisy from traffic. The room we had was clean and had a comfortable bed. There are repairs that need done though, and the bathroom leaves something to be desired. The shower is a tin stall like you might find at a campground, there were spots I the kitchen where the wall met the counter that were crumbling and I sat in a chair that broke as soon as my butt touched it.
It is however extremely affordable ad the owners were very sweet and helpful. I would stay here again in the motel if I were in town for a quick trip.

We have been staying in this RV Park on the Kettle River for a month now. Due to unusual winter and spring conditions this year, much of the RV park experienced some flooding. Lawrence and Karen worked tirelessly to ensure that every park resident got their rigs out safely.
Once we were on high ground they then offered each of us keys to a motel room (At NO Charge) since we now had no hook-ups for our rigs.
The motel rooms, while of an older vintage are very nicely painted and furnished. The bed was very comfortable. All appliances are in good working condition. I would definitely stay in this motel again. It is an easy walk or bicycle to the town of Grand Forks and to a paved bicycle trail.
This is our second time staying in this RV Park and we will likely return again next year. The sites are older but well kept. It is nice to see the river and there are lovely shade trees at sites. Sites are not paved, but are level. WIFI is the best we've had anywhere in the past year of travels across Canada and down south in the USA.

Stayed for an evening, and enjoyed the stop. The beds are great, room cozy and surprisingly quiet. They could use either dimmer outdoor lighting or darker curtains however. Will definitely stay again.

We booked this two star hotel for a late check in, early out in the morning stay, and it perfectly met our expectations. Reasonable rates in high summer season. Very friendly check in. A real effort made here to keep the outside well tended and attractive with beautiful hanging baskets everywhere. Room worked for us, and appreciate the separate bedroom layout which created better privacy for our three adult stay. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, dishes etc. The decor is vintage from maybe 1980, but every tidy, clean and retro cute. Free wifi. Great water pressure in shower. I noticed a sign for laundry facilities. RV camping available, and you can stroll to the back of the property to enjoy a view of the beautiful river.
