We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning and it did look every inch a 5* hotel. Check in was very quick as we were the only ones that came in at this time. We had booked a sea view room which was very spacious with a king size bed which was comfortable and clean. The towels and sheets were changed every day and the maid service for the cleaning of the room was very good. It was just a pity that there was no facility in your room to make an early morning cup of coffee or tea, you had to wait for breakfast in the restaurant.

We were all-inclusive but found this to be a big disappointment. Part of the restaurant had barriers around it for a conference that was taking place and this was for their use, the rest of the restaurant was for all-inclusive guests. We found that our part of the restaurant, the tables were not cleared so we had to clear them ourselves before we could eat. The food was pretty much the same all week with lunch and dinner practically the same. Some of the food left over from lunch or dinner was served again . After the second day we decided we would pay the extra for the Al-a-Carte restaurant to be told we could not eat there that night or the following day because it was booked out to the conference. We complained at reception and a member of the management team came to see us and agreed with us about our complaints regarding the food, state of restaurant and not even being able to go to the Al-a -Carte restaurant. We were upgraded to the Level all-inclusive for that night and breakfast the following morning after that the conference would be finished and things would be better in the hotel.

The Level was more relaxed tables laid and cleared properly but the food was just the same as the other restaurant cold soup ,salads bland food very little taste.

There was suppose to be entertainment at the hotel in the evenings this was in fact 2 nights while we were there. Everything in this hotel closed at 10.30 pm not really all-inclusive to our minds.

The staff were all very nice happy smiling very polite and the hotel itself is very impressive. If we were to return to this hotel we would do so because of the excellent staff , the clean hotel but we would only go room only or bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room so you won't be overlooking the building site and it is beautiful to look out on.

Oh dear! Basically, tomatoes and mozarella is ok. lettuce: covered in insect / larva "bite marks". french fries: cold and dripping with oil. truly disgusting and scary... particularly as here for a food safety conference.... honestly, avoid any kind of deal including food. We tried a couple places down by the beach - even worse.... fries still cold and greasy but supplemented with dead flies.... If you are keen to go as it is cheap, bring supplies. 95% of staff miserable and grumpy. dont even try tipping, doesnt change their attitude. less than 2 days to go and am out of here.....

Room Tip: choose a room somewhere else

This hotel is surprisingly nice, well maintained and the service is impecable. All the employees were young, always-smiling people and they were particularly concerned of the guests' comfort at all times.
The package we had, Level, included breakfast, free drinks from 2pm - 5pm, and tea at 5pm (with cakes). More than enough.... delicious meals, a great variety of dishes, fresh squeezed juices, all you can wish for!
Also, enjoyed a lot the gym&sauna experience, also included in the level package. When choosing this hotel - it's really worth taking the level membership, which comes with great advantages.
Awesome rooms, big & clean, well equipped, extremely comfortable beds.

Room Tip: Opt for level and you'll get great value for the money.

I will start with the positives, the overall appearance of the hotel is very classy, both inside and out, the room was large, clean, comfortable and has lots of cupboard and draw space.
The outdoor pool is large and has a seperate area for young children, and the sun loungers were numerous enough to ensure we always were able to find 2 together. Throw in a clean pool towel every day, and good daily entertainment and activities ( this may not be the case off season, as it was winding down by the begining of sept) then i could have no complaints.
We stayed on a B&B basis, and found the breakfast ok, there was certainly a vast choice on offer, and seemed to cover all possible tastes, of course as with any mass catering it was the luck of the draw as to how hot the cooked breakfast items were, which is why i made good use of the omelete bar, where your omelete was cooked to order.
As for the staff, you will always find some staff will be friendlier than others, often depending on what their job is, but on the whole the staff were pleasant, some downright friendly.
Sadly, what could be an outstanding hotel, does have a couple of major flaws, the biggest one for me is the gym, it is a disgrace, I would expect better from a 2 star hotel, never mind a 5 star, even if the equipment was in a decent condition, it is way to small for a 700+ room hotel, but the equipment was far from ok, the few bits that did work are in a dangerous condition (a cable snapped on one machine while i was trying to adjust the weight) most of the machines that did work, did not work properly, and the barbells did not have ends to stop the weights falling off.
The other major flaw is the food, although as previously stated we stayed B&B we spoke to other guests on all inclusive, and the general opinion was that the other meals were sub standard, this was bore out on the night we decided to eat in the a la carte restaurant, although it charged more than double the price of the resort restaurants, we decided to treat ourselves, what a let down, although the food was flavoursome (some might say too flavoursome) it was not special, it was not quiet hot enough, and not quiet tender enough, certainly not 5 star standard.
There was also a couple of minor flaws, in that the room does not have tea / coffee making facilities, and they do not have english tea at breakfast, fortunately we had a travel kettle and tea bags with us.
We did actually enjoy our stay, and don't doubt you would as well, just don't eat or work out.
