Just back from a weeks stay at Majestic. Arrived 3am but reception staff very helpfull and quickly had us checked in. I'm not sure what some people expect but we found all staff very helpfull and friendly, reception staff happy to give any info requested, cleaner found extra pillows for us with no problem and restaurant manager very friendly.

We had room with sea view on 11th floor nice room cleaned every day, sofa bed for my 15 year old was very hard and collapsed one day but fixed very quickly by maintenance who must have had this problem before as they arrived with exactly right tools and parts within 5 minutes.(I think sofa bed better suited to younger people)

Sometimes difficult to get a seat at breakfast but can usually get one outside if none inside. There is a large selection of hot or cold food at breakfast the only thing we had any difficulty with was finding clean cups for tea. We were on the 2nd (8 - 9.30) sitting for dinner never had difficulty getting a table and plenty of choice of food although found meat a bit tough there was also pasta, salad and fish most nights, there was cheese, fruit, ice cream or cake for desert so we did not have any problem finding something we liked.

The evening entertainment was diabolical and we only went twice second time to see if any better it was worse!!

Lovely pools a bit chilly but that was fine, sunbeds comfortable but much as I hate putting towels out early if you didn't you would not get a sunbed until about 4pm.

Lots of shops bars and restaurants nearby

We will hopefully be returning next year and would recommend to anybody.

I spent one week here with my wife and our 2 small kids.

Sunny Beach is a filthy place on earth, but this hotel is worth a holiday almost just for staying at the hotel.

We had a big apartment with sea view at 7th floor, with dedicated sleeping room - so we could have a nice time also after the kids had fallen asleep.

At first step into the reception area, we were really impressed. This was really a luxury hotel.

We ate dinner every day at the buffet restaurant. The food is not the best food in the world, but at the top of the buffet they had some kind of fresh made meat from the chefs every day (which was the only very good food). They also have a lot of food that kids like (most of it not in the kid's corner, but anyway..).

We ate one day at the a la carte Restaurant Bulgari, but that is not worth choosing. The buffet restaurant is better. At our week there, we got one free dinner at the Bulgari. When I first talked to the management at the hotel, we couldn't get table there because they said it was fully booked - but I argued so that we got a table. Funny enough it was almost empty at the restaurant when we ate there. But anyway, the buffet restaurant is a lot better.

The pool area outside is very good and very big. Our 4 year-old daughter loved it, and so did I and my wife. The beach is also just across the street.

One very nice thing, was that every evening they had a show involving the kids (dancing, magician etc).

Not so good things:
- There are sunbeds at the pool area. To get one of those, you have to be there very very very early at morning. They don't have enough sunbeds for half of the guests.
- Our balcony was shared with our neighbours - which meant that we didn't have privacy on the balcony. Our neighbours was also smoking a lot, which was really bothering us.

All in all: Some things could have been better, but we had a very nice stay at the hotel - and I would happily advise other people to stay there as well.

Just got back from 2 weeks at the majestic 17th august to 1sept what a hotel the food the service the cleanliness of the rooms where fantastic .
Excellent choice of different food every nite the staff are friendly .
The hotel is very big it has 750 rooms in it to big for me the pool side is very clean and the pools are very clean with them plenty of sun beds and umbrellas .
The beach is just across the road with is also clean and tidy. The down side to the holiday was that the entertainment was rubbish at the majestic it is also full of Russians ,Germans and so on not many British people that you could make friends with . The Russians and Germans are very rude and inconsiderate people pushing in at meal times. But apart from the that the hotel is great a must on this holiday is the family cruise if you have children or the VIP for adult only also the horse and cart around sunny beach for 60 leva is well worth the money me and my daughter really enjoyed it.If you have a late flight you can ask on the day before you leave to keep your room on its 20 leva an hour to do this.

The majestic hotel is top for a reason, it is huge and every spot of it is spotlessly clean and well run..... It has all that you need from a hotel, on the beach, big pools, cushioned sun loungers, spa, mini golf and 2 restaurants..... We stayed half board (no option) for a week and if I had an option I would stay self catering or bed breakfast at most..... The choice of food is good and there is nice variety but it is more like a staff canteen that a restaurant...... The choice of food that can be got a short walk away is far better quality and is v.cheap.....
Large bottle of water costs €2.50 at pool bar and when your downing 2 a day each that's €70 on water if staying for week???? Go to supermarket 100metres down promenade and pay €.70..... Fabulous for family's or couples, life guards on duty and plenty of activities for kids.... The Majestic Hotel is a 15 min walk to main street but it's a nice walk and plenty of shops and bars and restaurants on way..... . Little bit annoyed to find out that wifi cost €20 for 7 days, bit of a rip off when you pay top dollar for hotel..... Venys beach bar directly across from majestic on beach is excellent bar and  has free wi-fi so go in there, order a beer (€1.50), lie on a bed or couch, order a pizza €3 all with a view of the beach and use their wi-fi......

Just returned from a two week stay. Hotel was amazing spotless, we got a sea view worth paying the extra. Lovely room kept very clean, room was very big.

The cleaners keep the hotel clean all day long. The food at the restaurant was varied and something for everyone, they serve the food warm and not hot as we usually eat it but was still good.

Plenty of sun beds never had to rush down and put towels out. Pool was freezing but a welcoming refreshment after the hot sun.

Vist the jamboree bar great for karaoke and cocktails place allways packed. Also visit nessabar the old town all cobbled streets and old shops lovely place. Get a bus there for 1 lev about 50cents. All went to khans tent good night.

Brilliant place to go for a holiday can't wait to go back there again great place for kids and plenty of shops and restaurants.
