Proximity to UND hockey arena, excellent food, great service makes this a great place to stay in Grand Forks. I usually stay here 2 times/year when visiting family or attending hockey games. North Dakota hospitality all the way!

Dear David,

Thanks for returning to stay at our hotel and for sharing your experience! We truly appreciate your loyalty. Thank you for commenting on our proximity to the Ralph Engelstad Arena, home to the new Fighting Hawks! We love hockey weekends and the spirit our hockey fans bring.

Very convenient hotel/motel. Directly connect via sky bride to UND. Lobby and public areas very modern and updated vs. rooms still in another era, although very clean and in good condition. Staff was very welcoming for last minute group booking from weather delay.

Dear David,

Thank you for the review! Our location is certainly a selling point for our hotel. Whether you're in town to visit UND or for business downtown, you'll be only minutes away when you stay with us! While we take pride in our rooms and maintain them very well, we are excited to begin remodeling all of our guest rooms in 2016. We hope that you return to see the work we have done.

Thanks again,

This hotel is very nice and looks familiar if you are used to the Hilton Garden Inn properties. The rooms probably should be refreshed but the hotel lobby and conference areas are shiny and new. The internet and the food are terrific. The staff is friendly and helpful. I genuinely could not say one thing bad about this stay except that I ordered room service the night I was there and they neglected to put on the menu that there was a $5 delivery charge in addition to an 18% tip. Had I known that, I never would have paid $23 for a burger and a baked potato. That said, the front desk attendant removed the charge from my room service bill. I would absolutely stay here again while in Grand Forks. Look out though, the cab ride was almost $20!

Dear Wam,

Thanks for the excellent review! We are happy to hear the you enjoyed your stay with us! In 2016 we will begin updating all of our guest rooms and public spaces to be even more enjoyable. I am sorry about the confusing regarding the $5 service fee that was added to your room service bill. With our new dinner menus, we have gotten rid of the extra charge to prevent any similar experiences and to provide greater value to our guests.

Thanks again,

You know what you're going to get.....cookie cutter Hilton property. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds and newer property. Parking is easy as well. Easy access from I-29. Getting downtown is no problem and that's where I would go for the evening. Nice river walk and
it's where you want to be for evening dining. I would return.

Room Tip: Get the 3rd floor with a room SECOND from the end (not right next to stairs).

Dear Robert,

Thank you very kindly for your review and room tip! Hilton does a great job at ensuring a consistent product among all Hilton Garden Inn properties. When you walk into our spacious lobby, you may recognize a similar layout and amenities to other Hilton Garden Inns that you have been to in the past. Anytime you stay at a Hilton, you can expect great service, clean rooms, amazing food, and a welcoming smile.

The hotel was clean and quiet and comfortable. I was there for a business trip so I didn't spend much time in the hotel and wish I could have used more of the amenities. Overall it served it's purpose and the service was great.

Dear Amy,

Thank you very much for writing your review! We are delighted that our hotel was a good fit for your business trip. With our 24 hour business center, and quite rooms with spacious desks and free phone calls, it would be hard to stay with us and not get work done. However, when you're ready to relax, our guests can come down to our bar and grab a drink and enjoy our pool, fitness center, and spa. Next time you're in town on business or pleasure, give us a call!
