Our girls synchro skating team stayed here and it was super. The hotel was booked solid yet the staff was friendly and accommodating. The decor is modern but comfortable. The foyer has a large area with couches and chairs and is inviting for visiting or assembling. There are also tables and chairs in the adjoining area that we used to do hair and makeup prior to competition and then used that night for a team pizza party.
Our room had a king sized bed in one area and a sectional couch which pulled out to a full size bed. The mattress on the pull out wasn't great so I would recommend bringing a mattress pad. We ended buying one at the nearby Walmart and it fixed the issue.
Housekeeping was swamped by the sold out hotel, but were kind and helpful.

Winnipeg this is the absolute best hotel to stay at if you are flying out of Grand Forks! You can park your car, plugged in for free. They will even start your car every day if it's super cold. Great breakfast too!

Have stayed here a few times now, and always love to go back. The lobby is very cool and modern - a departure from a lot of hotels in the area. The rooms also have a nice living room area with couch to hang out in. It's also the only hotel I've run across that has a separate toilet and sink separate from the main shower and vanity.

Well asked the friendly front desk if they had a room with a tub, she tried to get ahold of housekeeping as she had no clue if those rooms were occupied or cleaned. It was for a friday night and we got to the hotel early so i don't think there would have been alot of people in those rooms. Ok, they let us in early, good on them, we left reception and walked past three housekeepers, hmmm, not one smile, hi or good day. Got to the room, and we have stayed here multiple times over the years, since it was new, and the japanese/ikea style rooms have grown on us i guess as it was the best stay yet! Beds are very comfortable, t.v. Is still in an awkward spot, but the breakfast was super super super. Why, because its quality, eggs cooked with milk, and I have to say the best sausage patties i ever had, my wife hates patties, but said she really liked these ones. Place is very clean and accommodating when they can. We will be back sooner as it had been awhile with all the choices in this city. Very quiet location too. And again, reception was very friendly.

Room tip: I always like high floor away from elevator, lots of rooms like that here

We arrived at 350pm for checking and were greeted with friendliness and a smile.
As I had my mother with me we needed a room close to the elevator and they made sure that happened, the room was spacious and was lovely .
Nice amenities and beds very comfortable . The continental breakfast was good with plenty of selection.
Check out was easy with no complications.

Room tip: East side not facing the main road
