2nd day into our trip and we decided Italian. The suggestion from our hosts was Toscana. Let me just say right off the bat, a restaurant that is willing to be flexible is always very appreciated. This staff and chef was exactly that way. Personally, I was ready for pasta but when I saw Steak Au Poire on the menu, that is where I had to go but I still wanted that pasta. I requested a side of spaghetti with their pescatore sauce to replace the potatoes and they were glad to accommodate. Now about the food.
Appetizer- Escargot in a wine and butter sauce. It was good but just plain butter and garlic still takes the top prize for escargot.
Pasta with Pescatore (spicy) sauce was delicious.
Steak Au Poire was very good but not the best I have had (that is at Peppers in Roswell NM). The black pepper needs to be cracked a little finer. The sauce was gritty but had a pleasant taste.
Staff and atmosphere was great and if I ever visit Fargo again, I would not hesitate to go there again.

Stopped for an early dinner on Thursday night as a finale for our vacation before catching the train. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. Bread with dipping oil very tasty. Crostini, house salad and pasta were all flavorful. The price seemed reasonable. The staff was friendly. The only complaint: we were half way through the appetizer when the salads arrived. We were a third the way through the salad when the main course was served...and we eat too fast already! We felt too rushed to enjoy the evening as we had planned.

We had a business dinner with a long table of people. Service was excellent and timely. Food was very good - very traditional Italian. Raves for everything from the pasta to the seafood to the specials. Excellent choices on wine and pricing very reasonable. Good find!

I was on a business trip and came to this restaurant alone. I was seated right away in a booth. I didn't see many vegetarian/vegan options to choose from so the waitress was able to customize a pasta entree for me. The waitress brought out bread and a great dipping oil and my meal was served quickly after. Overall the restaurant was nice but it would have been even better if there was at least one option for vegetarian/vegans. I would recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in the area.

We went as a group of 6 friends for dinner after reading the reviews. The dinner menu in the restaurant was a bit different than the menu on the website but no big deal. Husband ordered a Blue Moon beer, it came in a glass minus the traditional orange slice so he inquired about getting it and they do not have oranges. Friend orders a meal and is told they don't have that, orders another same thing. He settles on something and was brought something else, they did bring him what was missing. Other friend ordered the ribeye steak medium well and received a medium raw steak. The Zucotti was really nothing special. The bruschetta came with a very generous amount of tomatoes and 4 very tiny bread croutons. Had to ask for more bread. We were truly not impressed in the least with the food or service. The atmosphere is quite lovely.
