Loved this cottage, warm, cosy. Gorgeous views. Close to beach, little shop and five minutes drive from ferry which runs hourly except on Sundays.

“Lovely cottage in a beautiful place”
Reviewed 2 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The modern interior had everything we needed and more. The WiFi was especially useful for planning each day trip around Shetland. Frequent ferries to Lerwick meant we never felt cut off from the rest of the islands. There are some nice walks around Bressay, such as around the coast from the lighthouse and also up to the top of Ward Hill where you can get great views all around the island. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family if they are visiting Shetland.

“Loved it!”

The house was great and we loved our stay there. You will find it exactly as described. Lindsay is a great host who will make sure his guest have everything they need. We felt right at home in the cottage and loved exploring Bressay and the Mainland. Bressay is well located if you want to go explore other parts of Shetland. The only drawback is having to plan around the ferry. That said, our kids always loved taking the ferry back to the house. We would love to come back in the future.

“Perfect Cottage”
Reviewed 30 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This cottage was brilliant, exactly as described. Lovely friendly greeting by the owner. We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of room for all. Wi fi was enjoyed by the teen agers, LOL and the scenery was enjoyed by the adults. Our youngest two are in awe of St Ninians Tombolo. The cottage was on the Isle of Bressay and I needn't have worried about the access as the Ferry service was brilliant and very regular. The cottage had everything you needed for a fantastic stay and hopefully we will return soon. Thank you

“Perfect choice”

Lindsay and Kim have created a spotless, spacious, home from home with every creature comfort and eggs from their own flock. They welcomed us personally after our overnight passage from Orkney. They have provided a perfect base and have created the freedom to enjoy all that the Shetland Isles have to offer us. We are enjoying superb walking, splendid wildlife, marine activities, and are able to pursue our normal hobbies of swimming and fencing at the mainland Leisure Centre. The ferry timetable was a most thoughtful addition and our commuting has been first rate so many thanks to Shetland Islands Council. The Braeside Café was a real find Ora, our expatriate French waitress, now married and on the Shetland Islands, is a lovely lovely person. Many thanks indeed.
