My wife and I went to Myrtle Beach for vacation and drove up to Wilmington (about an hour drive) and ended staying for two days. We bought the 3 home pass and saw the Latimer House, the Bellemy Mansion, and the Burgwin-Wright House. If you like history each of these homes offers a great experience. Make sure that you take the guided tour as the docents fill in all of the little facts the make this house truly unique.

We went on a tour here while visiting Wilmington. Our tour guide was excellent, very nice and knowledgeable! The home is huge and beautiful and had many of the original items dating back to the 1800's. The whole tour took an hour and was well worth the money!! If you like history, you'll love this place!

My husband and I went for a tour of this beautiful home to finish the series of three, (Burgwin-Wright and Bellamy Mansion, respectively), and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Marcia, was very knowledgeable about the family and all descendants, as well as etiquette for the Victorian era. She went into lots of detail about the furniture, artwork, period clothing. Don't forget to see the wreath of hair, very interesting. We really enjoyed this tour, as well as our guide. Thank you all for sharing this home.

A beautiful old home built in the 1850's and used by the Latimer family and now run by the Wilmington Historical Society this home is one of many beautiful old homes that dot the streets.Walk the three or four streets up from the river and towards the bridge and you will see many great old homes.

Another must see for anyone interested in history. Built in 1852 this home is a great example of the Victorian era. It is well furnished with period pieces..
