From beginning to end this place was a delight. We enjoyed the broccoli tomato quiche, chicken pastry soup, black bean burger, salad, and a tasty pumpkin mini muffin. Top that off with chocolate peanut butter pie garnished with oreo and you can't go wrong for a lovely lunch!

Our local friends suggested this cafe for a late morning breakfast on Saturday to begin a lazy day of exploring the treasures of Wilmington. Little did we know it would be the highlight of our visit.

The bungalow in the older part of town was charming, but with the vibe of a regular spot for locals to enjoy great food and linger over their coffee. It is close to the idea of a Parisian Cafe without sidewalk dining.

The Eggs Benedict and Strata were excellent choices, and an "adult" grilled cheese was available for anyone not still interested in breakfast choices.....as well as, a to die for Shrimp Salad.

Try it.....You'll like it!

Although I am normally not an eat out breakfast person, I have had my second breakfast in 2 months here and had to tell the staff this am that this place is batting 1000 in three main categories. Great food, great service and great coffee. Usually when going out to eat breakfast I have to sacrifice coffee for good food and service or sacrifice good food for good coffee, not at Jesters. Great job folks.
Bon appetit!

We met friends here for brunch/lunch and we really enjoyed our meal. Located in a house on Castle the location is convenient - we like to explore the antique shops in the neighborhood- it has a comfortable, bright decor. We were seated quickly and even though they were busy, no room is overcrowded with tables so the noise level is good for catching up and chatting. Good service the whole time and we were not rushed! The food- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! It is fresh, served warm or cold as appropriate to what you order and delicious. Their prices are so reasonable this is a place you can afford to dine at frequently. They do not have their own parking but it is not difficult to find something on the street. We will be back for sure!

A friend wanted to buy me lunch and suggested we go to Jester's Café as he had never been. We were quickly seated, order taken and food on the table within minutes. My mesquite grilled chicken salad was beautiful and extremely tasteful while my friend's black bean burger was very tasty and satisfying. The place gets full around the Noon hour but most folks will find the food & service worth a visit (or two).
