Great Fresh Seafood, Excellent Service, at very fair prices; casual atmosphere, menu selection is excellent; simply a very well managed restaurant.

We enjoy going with friends and try something different. We live more than a hour away and was worth the drive for very GOOD seafood. The seafood chowder is very good-skip the cup size and go for the bowl. Had shrimp and scallps (sea) along with devil crab and tasted and looked fresh ( NOT a lot of batter). The other folks also enjoyed especially the vegetables. The key lime pie is a TRUE (not lime green but pale yellow) KEY LIME pie. The food makes the drive worth to return and bring more friends. Has a true oyster bar if desired. Christy gave us GREAT service especially with her suggestions for first timers.

We ate here 2 years ago on vacation and were quite impressed.
We always try to eat at "mom n pops" because we find they try harder and most of the time the food is better so we returned here again last night.
Our very pretty server (Brook) suggested the Hawaiian shrimp and my wife loved it.
I ordered the blackened catfish and it was awesome. Some of the best I've ever had.
We ordered several sides and all were very TASTY.
Get here early on the weekend because it gets packed and we waited 45 minutes, but it was worth it.
The only downside is someone needs to give the bathroom a good scrubbing.
With that said we can't wait to go back!

It was a nice surprise to find a good seafood restaurant nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The menu is extensive. Their fish is fresh; oysters are great.

To be honest, the food tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. The fish was spongy and the shrimp had a funky aftertaste. I got sick soon after. Though I can’t prove it was the food from MG, I can say that my dinner there was the only thing I’d eaten that day aside from dried toast many hours earlier. Don’t order the sweet tea unless you want excessively sweet tea. Yuck
