This restaurant was referred to us by a clerk at Mast General Store. We had a party of 8 and arrived at 4pm so the restaurant only had a couple patrons inside. We ordered drinks and even just getting a glass of water took nearly 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes passed before we saw the waiter again to give him our order (man in 30's maybe and working the entry level on 8/19). Another 15 minutes later 2 of our 5 salads arrived along with garlic knots to share with the 8 of us. The server didn't bring any small plates for the garlic knots so we had to ask. The server brought 2 additional salads and put them in front of our kids then he realized the salads belonged to the table next to us and he then took them away. About 10 min later, we had to ask the server for the other 3 salads we ordered. He thought we wanted them served with our pizza... why would he think this when he never even asked!? We asked for the salads and they were out within 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, the pizzas and entrees arrived. He couldn't remember who had what so had to call out each item and wait for us to claim it. He never once stopped by to ask how it was or if we needed anything. We had to flag him down for water refills, flagged him down for to go boxes which he just handed to us instead of boxing them. We had to ask for our checks and then awkwardly said he didn't add gratuity and did we want him to. We asked him not to. The food was just mediocre to bad. One pizza was ordered with anchovies and it came with 2-3 max. The pizza dough was too thick and had no flavor. The nearly one hour, firty-five minute experience was a huge disappointment. I almost forgot....my daughter ordered a side of French fries and the server had assistance with unloading the the tray. A fry fell out and onto another plate and the assistant ate the fry right off the serving tray. It was right in front of our table and although they had their backs to us, half of our party watched it happen. Of all things, the most bothersome part was that our server never once apologized for the slow service. We won't be back.
