“All you need plus extras: perfect”
Reviewed 20 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

From the moment upon arriving we felt at home and comfortable. The children aged 7 and 9 both enchanted by the garden, coloured lightening in bedroom and videos. A leisurely stroll to town from the house along the river was a daily highlight with excellent position to shops. Comfortable amentities, all thoughtful to make stay memorable. Would recommend to the family or couple wanting a well maintained property that has all you need close to town!

“Cosy Stay”

I have never stayed in accommodation so well equipped. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need. All the appliances are very new in appearance. It is decorated in a crafty style. We were impressed with the fresh flowers (5 vases) and the nice touch of bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates. It was possible to sit either in the front or back garden as table and chairs were set up in each location. The garden was full of trees and plants and all you had to do was walk out the back garden onto a pathway alongside the river (Canyon Walk) and you were in the town within a couple of minutes. The lounge room was spacious and had a good sized TV. One bedroom had a large bathroom & toilet attached to suit disabled guests whilst the other bedroom had twin beds. A TV was included in each bedroom. There was an extra shower room and separate toilet as well. The house was spotlessly clean. I can highly recommend this property.

Thank you so much. We are so pleased you both enjoyed your stay at Roses On The River and found the property cosy, comfortable and relaxing. We strive to present the property as a home away from home and we are delighted you found the accommodation well equipped and also enjoyed the riverside and short walk to the township of Bright.

“Cosy and convenient with lovely garden views”

My daughter and I both found ourselves relaxing and unwinding during our stay at Roses on the River. Everything that one could need was provided, including excellent appliances, (washing machine, dishwasher etc), warm comfortable beds and TV/DVD/CD etc. The house, set in a lovely garden, was only a short walk to town and other walks.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. They have obviously put a lot of care and love into the place and we would go there again

“Cosy crafty cottage close to town”
Reviewed 10 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

For a girls weekend this house suited us perfectly and the bottle of champagne and Lindt chocolates were a special touch on arrival that should not go unmentioned, as were the fresh flowers. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating, visiting to 'show us the ropes' on arrival. The cottage was a convenient walking distance to the town centre and being right on the river allowed for interesting canyon walks. The kitchen was extremely well equipped (including dishwasher) which was great as we self-catered, and having two bathrooms was a bonus given that we were a group of five. Although there was an option to view DVDs from a well-stocked library, only one was a suitable 'chick flick', the rest being more suitable for kids and blokes. I recommend you take your own if this interests you. Even though the queen bed was beautifully comfortable, a couple of the singles beds were not, one being a rollaway (it would probably be suitable for a child though.) Overall, excellent, cosy accommodation that is very well equipped, even allowing for wheelchair access in the ensuite.
