“Fantastic bolthole in Croyde”
Reviewed 27 May 2016 for a stay in April 2015

We've stayed at the cottage a couple of times now & it just gets better with each visit. Bag loads of space, contemporary & stylish interior with cracking garden & sun deck that's just perfect for outdoor dining. Fully equipped with everything a family needs for a great holiday. Location couldn't be more perfect - short 10 min walk to the beach & the same into Croyde itself. Couldn't recommend highly enough and can't wait to go back.

“Another brilliant week in Croyde”
Reviewed 20 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Annual family and friends holiday pilgrimage to Croyde. This year we stayed at Choice Cottages Broadlands, a well presented six bedroom house near to beach and the Thatch (our favourite pub in Croyde). Accommodation had all the mod cons for a comfortable week. The washing machine and dryer were a must with seven children! The broadband however couldn't cope with so many competing for wireless connection!!
Croyde Bay is a brilliant and safe haven for both relaxing on the beach, or getting wet in the surf. Plenty of choices for lunch and evening meals, no need to take the car anywhere once parked up on the drive. Can't wait to book next year.

“Lovely, tastefully decorated house in great location”
Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Very comfortable house with all mod cons. We only stayed for a weekend but would be excellent for longer. Great location as you can easily walk to the beach or to Croyde village. Only slightly negative comment is that the bedroom with the bunks is not really suitable for adults as the headroom is limited but other than that really great.

“Beautiful home for large families & friends”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This is a beautiful holiday home in the heart of Croyde. There was 11 of us but we never felt crowded. Garden is very secluded and has the sun on it for most of the day

Broadlands is a 5/10 mins walk to Croyde beach, the beach is very safe as there are lifeguards on duty throughout the day.

There are some lovely places to eat in Croyde, our favourite was The Manor House Inn, they do a good carvery on Sundays & Wednesdays. There is a great fish & chip restaurant in the next village Braunton, the restaurant is called Squires, the portions here are very large.

The one thing I would recommend while staying at Broadlands is you take a torch out with you as it's very dark when returning from the village at the end of the night

A beautiful home in a beautiful village and we would definitely go back

“wonderfully relaxing break”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time on our annual pilgrimage with extended family and friends to North Devon. Well equipped cottage (especially enjoyed hot showers and drying off with the lovely fluffy white towels). Morning coffee on the decking before exhilerating walks along the coast path or time on the beach or both when we walked around Baggy Point to Putsborough Beach. Then back in time to enjoy an evening meal together around a large table which enabled lots of family news to be caught up on. Hopefully a visit to be repeated....
