During our recent vacation at the Outer Banks, upon a local friend's recommendation, we dined at Owens' Restaurant in Nags Head, North Carolina, on a Saturday night. We arrived when the restaurant opened, so even though our party was large, we did not have to wait. The seafood dinner entrees were delicious, with several members of our party selecting the pecan crusted scallops. I chose a creamy and delectable shrimp and clam linguini. The savory appetizers, calamari and catfish, also whetted our appetite, as did the cheese dip and crackers, served before the main course. One member of our party savored the creamy clam chowder. The young children in our party had a kid's menu to choose from and enjoyed their meals, too. The service was prompt and pleasant, and we greatly enjoyed our dining experience at this Outer Banks restaurant.
