We stayed here overnight to pick up a puppy. The staff was super kind and went out of their way to accomadate us. Had to made many trips down to let puppy out to walk durn the night, the night staff made sure I was safe outside, I was very thankful for. Our plane on Sunday had a late departure. We were given a late checkout with no problem. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The rooms are very clean, large, and modern. I would reconmend this hotel to any traveler going to the Raleigh area.

We had made a reservation to do a one-night stay combined with a long-term parking situation. We arrived late at night - my husband flew in from a business trip and I met him at the airport, and we went to the hotel and checked in. We were given our room key, went up to the room, and while there was a "Do Not Disturb" hang tag on the door, the key opened the door - and the room was dirty. It had clearly been slept in, showered in, but there was no indication that the prior guest was still there - no suitcases. I can only assume that the departing guest never removed the "Do Not Disturb" sign, so housekeeping didn't go in to clean. How the room was then marked as ready for us, I don't know, but that was the case.

We went back downstairs to talk to the front desk clerk, who assured us that that was our room. When we said we couldn't sleep there knowing it hadn't been cleaned since the last tenant, she said we had to - it was the only room "of that type". She said she'd have to wait until the shuttle driver came back and have him clean it, since she was the only one there to man the desk. (Nothing personal - I didn't meet said shuttle driver, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't trained in preparing rooms for guests....) It was late, we were pre-paid, and we had an early flight. We just asked her to get us a clean room, and told her it didn't matter what "type" room it was - just that it was clean. We got a new room and assumed the worst was behind us.

The following morning we arrived downstairs 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time for the airport shuttle we'd reserved with the front desk clerk the night before (yes, the same clerk). Turns out our names weren't on the list, and the shuttle was full. Fortunately there was a different attendant at the desk by this time, and once we explained what had happened the night before, he was able to get us onto the next shuttle which got us to the airport in time. He suggested we contact hotel management, saying something like this shouldn't have happened, but because we were traveling for a long period of time (hence the park and fly deal) I never got around to it, and have forgotten the name of the front desk attendant the night we checked in.

Sadly, this is a better scenario than the last time we did a park and stay at this airport. Last time, at another hotel, our car flooded in the parking lot during heavy rains. This hotel is situated on higher ground and we had no such problem - in fact we had no problem with the parking part of our stay.

We spent two nights at the Holiday Inn. My husband had meeetings in Raleigh and Chapel Hill. The motel was in a good location for both. The hotel was pretty standard for a Holiday Inn, but what made it stand out were the employees! The front desk staff was always pleasant and when I requested a late check out they quickly accomadated me with a smile. We encountered the housekeeping staff several times and each one was so pleasant and eager to help. Also if you are hungry when you are here there is a quick short cut path to the neighboring Bojangles and Hooters!! I would stay here again!

This hotel has also a shuttle service if needed. Very close to the airport. Rooms are spacy and, wifi works well. Menu card offers different plates and they are good. Breakfast offers a good variety of choice. Good quality for the buck

Room Tip: you can do an online check in so you can choose your room (if you are a Hilton member). Take a room with some distance of the elevators.
