10 vegetable pakoras for $5.00! Can't beat that price. They were awesome but the dipping sauces were a bit bland. The Cauliflower Manchurian was another hit. Lightly battered, fried to perfection. For our main courses we had the Mango Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Tasty, but our complaint is with the spiciness. We like spicy and were given 3 choices - mild, medium, and hot. We ordered one medium and one hot. We found the hot to be barely medium spicy and the medium to be on the mild side. Since we were the only non-Indians in the restaurant, perhaps they thought the gringos couldn't handle hot.
Some reviewers complained about the pricing. I found the main courses to be consistently $2.00 less than what one would pay at Indian restaurants in Raleigh. The apps were cheaper as well. Perhaps these reviewers are comparing to other restaurants in Little India (Morrisville). I don't go to Morrisville often enough to make that comparison.
The restaurant is open until 10:00 P.M. nightly. Unheard of in this part of the world. Most places are closed by 9:00 on weekdays.
