All of the classic home cooking is on the menu. Try the barbeque - NC highland style. Good sides and there are lots of homemade pies and cakes if you are still hungry. No beer or wine available so get ready to drink ice tea or soda.

This is my favorite place to eat in Marion. Good variety on the menu, my favorite is the smoked chicken half. The fried okra is good. My wife always orders the chopped barbeque sandwich, its huge. The deserts are all good.

Good food. They have daily specials with vegetable sides. My husband ordered a cheeseburger which had a huge handmade pattie! Very good flavor. This is a locals hangout.

Went here for breakfast and had a wonderful meal. I have been here many times and like it very much. I love seeing and hearing the locals talk. They all seem to know each other,a very good meeting place for breakfast.
The food is very good, I order the ham n cheese omelette and home taters, and could not eat it all. Was so good but more then I could eat. Husband had country ham and it looked great, he enjoyed his meal. We will be back next time we are in town. Best meal of the day!👍🍽

Don't let the giant pot hole in the parking lot OR the front of the building fool you!
On the inside this is a great little diner. With lots of "50s" Coca Cola signs motif. The food is very good, service swift and friendly with most reasonable prices. The place is packed in for breakfast or lunch most days they're open. Mon-Fri - 7a - 2p / Sat 7 to Noon.

Our two fine waitresses Milissa and Autumn ("The Nice One" according to the other one) were actually both very friendly and sweet, swift of foot and ready to serve. I had the Butterfly Shrimp, with the home made whipped mashed potatoes and Slaw; $7.99 Red had the Fish of the day, which that day was Flounder, with Fries and Slaw. . . priced the same most delectable! They did not have real lemon for their Sweet Tea, which surprised me as Sweet Tea with lemon, to me is a staple in any restaurant of the South.

On the wall one of the biggest Coca Cola puzzles I have ever seen. Here is a Homestyle real Southern Cooking place located just outside downtown Marion.
Just to the front of Trade Lot, this location fills up on Saturday Morn.

I'll be back again real soon,
Pasqually "The Pizzaman"
