Our group of 11 rented creek side cottages and chalets at Stonebridge. The cottages are truly fully equipped with everything you need including a full sized stove with oven. The chalets are smaller than the photos appear, but are functional. They have a two-burner stove top, microwave, coffee pot and apartment sized refrigerator. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and silverware. Extra trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc all provided. WIFI present but some in our group thought it was on the slow side.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The campground was clean, quiet and well located for venturing out to ride to Cherokee, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, the Rattler, Tail of the Dragon and Sidewinder. It was also just a hop over to see the Biltmore estate in Asheville. It had good laundry facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a minor incident with an unwanted and inebriated visitor who was wandering the campground after hours that was handled professionally by staff and local law enforcement without further trouble.
We had planned on bringing our 40-ft toy hauler and were glad we didn’t. The park is a little tight. It’s very popular with seasonal folks and seasonal spots fill quickly.
Plenty of local restaurants close by and an excellent Ingles grocery store within 10 minutes.
Overall, I’d say this place is a winner.More
