My first visit to this Inn in Western NC. Beautiful place with great food and service. Every single employee at the Inn was helpful and caring. Madison's restaurant on property is excellent and not over priced like so many other higher end places.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the cottages and it was excellent. Some of the rooms in the INN itself are on one of the main highways through town and I would suggest you not stay on that side of the Inn.

We came here for our honeymoon and it was nothing but wonderful. They served us champagne upon arrival and upgraded our room since it was a special occasion. The spa is in-house and is incredible! Spa rooms have a direct elevator to the spa area and extra privileges in that area which is fantastic. The whole area is beautiful and picturesque. The in-house restaurant is pricy but worth every penny! Be prepared that the entire town is full of expensive food.
We plan to go back for our anniversary.

My husband and I found ourselves able to take a quick, last minute get-away in June and found The Old Edward's Inn by recomendation of friends. It was exactly what we had hoped! Quaint, charming, and elegant without being stuffy. We felt very much "at home" and were able to enjoy the library/bar area to watch a sports event, the tranquility of the spa, and champagne on the grounds. The location is very convenient. We walked to breakfast at the market, to shopping, lunch venues, etc. Dinner at Madison's was exquisite. The staff were refined yet relaxed and the food was five staff for sure. One word of warning- there really is no defined "entrance." The hotel sits on the main street with two "valet" parking spots in front. Don't look for a circular drive and realize the valet may be inside assisting others at the time of your arrival. Just pull in to a reserved spot and head inside.

Recently renovated, the Old Edwards Inn has become a choice site for weddings. At such an event last summer, we, the wedding party, were met with solicitous courtesy by the staff, offered a charming site, and served a perfectly delicious dinner in a private dining room. The groom reported that the cost of the entire event was lower than one would have expected.
