Good campground. 15 minutes to Biltmore, 20 minutes to Asheville. Wifi was a little iffy But it was football Saturday, guess everyone was watching a game. Hookups were fine, staff was very helpful. Bathrooms were clean.

The park is very good for extended stays. The utilities are first rate. The location is centrally located for the Asheville, Hendersonville, Arden locations. I would have gave it an excellent but the layout while ok, is not that big rig friendly especially on some of the pull through sites. Again while not a tremendous problem you will probably need something to place under your tires unless you do not mind having one of them off the ground to be level. We will stay there again when exploring that part of the mountains.
We were there in a motorhome.

My husband and I are traveling across country heading back to AZ. We stayed here in early August and thought it was a good location We were in site 74, which was on the end of the road and a pull through. Your rating of this park might be impacted by the site you get. It was a good jumping off point to go into Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and any of the small surrounding towns. There are lots of resturants within a couple of miles of the campground. The internet was spotty but we were able to use it for small amounts of time. There are several full timers there but they didn't bother anyone and they had well kept sites. The pond was not as attracive as I had hoped but all in all we would stay here again.

We read the reviews of other travelers, but took them with a grain of salt. A pool does not an RV resort make. We should have listened. The sites are beyond crowded, sitting on a stagnating pond. The permanent residents are everywhere, including the "view" from our campsite. The entire park is plunked behind an industrial park. There is no wifi, neither detectable by any device nor available, despite claims to the contrary. The list of rules including how late you may have a fire until (must be extinguished by 11) apparently does not include abiding by providing said amenities. We won't return, as we can get water, electric and dump anywhere, and certainly don't have to pay this much or maneuver this much to get it. Their bathhouse is impeccable, so that much is true.

We stayed at Rutledge Lake for our first time and enjoyed it very much. We had a site on the lake and enjoyed feeding the ducks. An added pleasure was watching an Ospray diving for fish every morning. This camp ground is very close to shopping and restaurants. Yes, some of the sites are close together but I have been to some places where they were closer. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.
