I would describe this motel in one word: sub-par. Maybe 30 yrs ago it was good, but it is ‘tired’. We stayed here because, at the last moment, it was the only pet-friendly hotel we could locate . . . never again. In addition, we encountered, in just a few hours, 2 drug sales, 2 suspected prostitution events (1 at the bar, 1 in the parking lot), a lot of ‘riff-raff’ driving through the property, spillover of street partying from the adjacent Econo Lodge, and a dozen or so heavy duty dump trucks in and out for the night
Other issues are worn out rooms, with poor mattresses, bathrooms in need of renovation, and dirty carpet. Then there were the uneven sidewalks, a hotel bar and grill staff that knows nothing of customer service, and inoperable ice machines
My recommendation . . . . stay at the much newer Comfort Inn or the Hampton (Note: neither are pet friendly)
