This is a well-located Comfort Inn, easy reach to Durham and Raleigh sites. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, there was a decent breakfast with a good choice of different kinds of food, and there were only a couple of small points which kept me from giving a higher rating: no "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the door, and an out-of-date restaurant listing in the handbook in the room which sent us to a restaurant no longer open in the evening.

Well, it was a rainy weekend so the several water leaks were no surprise. One in breakfast area was disturbing. Rooms were clean and staff helpful and friendly. Needs updating. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
DISGUSTING! I checked in with my three kids and was immediately turned off by the smell in the lobby. Then the smell in the elevator. Then the smell in my room ... It almost made me want to throw up. Why I didn't turn around and leave right then I will never know.
It was a few hours later that we found the bugs. All over the pillow my son was lying on. Lots of little reddish brown ones .. What kind of bugs? No idea. But I'm currently at another hotel and the entire family is jockeying to shower first in a frantic attempt to rid ourselves of the last remnant of that hotel.
We lasted less than four hours.
I booked through the Choice Hotels Website. 2 Night Stay.
I normally stay at newer properties. Not sure what happened this time. I did not talk to management.....when there are this many "issues" what's the point.
Old property.
Parking lot poorly lit.
Linens were stained.
Interior in dire need of renovating.
AC unit was LOUD and didn't work well. Room was humid warm.
Breakfast area needs cleaning (I didn't eat breakfast for this reason).
Lobby and halls smelled of cigarette smoke.
Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30 am and 9:30 am......check out is 12 pm.
Good points: The man that checked me in was very nice and professional as well as the lady that gave me an extra key (although she said my room number out loud).
WOW what can i say crappy hotel with crappy rooms and crappy management . Only reason i stayed here was because i got this room on hotwire. It is a low class dirty moldy smelling hotel that smells like cigarettes and mold. Worst experience ever at a hotel. This hotel just needs to be bulldozed and some thing else built there. Carpet was filthy and management will lie and kick you out of your room for nothing. I don't smoke have never smoked but i got blamed because the hotel stinks and i paid through hotwire.
This is about middle of the road in terms of other Comfort Inn's I've stayed at, not the best but not the worst. The price was in my range and the room was clean. The wifi worked but the hot water was barely warm. The breakfast was adequate for my needs.
