Four of us had very good meals here. I had the pork enchilada' and they were excellent. Margarita's were very good too. Excellent service.

Great restaurant...location, service, and layout were top notch. Menu was limited (a plus for me) and focused on a few interesting items. Presentation was exceptional. Food was good, but menu descriptions hinted that tastes and combinations of tastes should have been better. Couldn't quite tell if they were going for a "niche" Mexican take, an authentic Mexican take, or some combination of both. Overall good experience. Price/Value was quite fair. Drinks (Maragarita's missed the mark, mostly due to limited Tequila choices) were fine, yet leaved room for improvement.

The food was very good and the place was packed. The diet coke tasted watered down for some reason. Good location and place to go before the DPAC performance.

Actually, go here alone too. Food starts off on a good note- the chips and salsa are unusually good. I'm not sure what the salsa is, but it's got a green tomatillo base and it's the perfect thickness for salsa- not too chunky or watery. This place has an amazing variety of margaritas, but I think my favorite is the Hot Guava, which is just slightly spicy. The guacamole here is great, as is the stuffed plantains thing- can't remember what it's called but it has jalapeños and cheese in it, and it's even better than it sounds. The main entrees are incredibly good. My favorite is probably their variety of pollo en mole, which features a really high quality mole sauce and chicken stuffed with goat cheese. This place is also nice because they will gladly allow substitutions on certain things, like swapping out green beans for black beans. Finally, the dessert here is worth staying for, especially since The Parlour supplies Dos Perros with unique ice cream flavors. You might want to stay away from Dos Perros if you're on a tight budget, but it's worth a trip every few months for sure!

I attended a private engagement party at Dos Perros in their downstairs room. The location was lovely and had a festive flare with christmas baubles hanging from the ceiling. The event was catered by the restaurant and as the newly engaged couple are both vegan we enjoyed a vegan mexican spread. I never saw or experienced the restaurant's regular menu but if their catering is any evidence then I can only assume it's excellent. The service we received downstairs was on point with a cash bar and chaffing dishes that were kept full and table service that kept dirty dishes from piling up. If I'm ever in the area again I would be happy to go back and try a regular dining experience.
