~Beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby
~Breakfast Buffett wasn't worth the $10 but the main menu is delicious! The best deal is the bread basket for $3 (includes a muffin, cousaint, & roll). The berry bowl is also great too!
~Walking distance to the main street (Franklin St) with all types of bars and restaurants! About a 15 minute walk to the "Carolina Brewery" and a 5 minute walk to "Top of the Hill" & "Spanky's Restaurant".
~Conciere is very helpful and friendly.
~The cookies at the front desk ran out but we were able to come back at a later time with no problems in getting them. (This hotel is a Double Tree hotel and give everyone those delish cookies at check-in.)
~There is a "Friday's on the Porch" event with live music, every Friday night.
~The elevators, rooms and bathrooms are very small but clean and nice. It's perfect if you already expect them to be smaller than you're use to.
~It's an older style hotel but feels brand new!
~Chapel Hill is such a beautiful part of North Carolina and The Carolina Inn is right in the heart of all the beauty.
~Great place for a wedding!!! - The courtyard was beautiful, the cocktail hour hallway was bright with lined windows and the reception room was spacious and lovely!
~If I were to travel to Chapel Hill again I would DEFINITELY stay here!!!!!More
