Visited for a weekday lunch and the place was full of working people on their lunch break. Staff was friendly, but I'm glad my partner had been here before because I would have had no clue what to do.
You are seated at a table and then you make your way to the buffet line. Everything here is raw so you're basically building a meal to be cooked. Any combination is fine, and as there are no limitations. They do have some helpful recipe cards which I'd recommend until you get the hang of things. You pay by the bowl, so whatever fits is fine. No matter how interesting you balance things. You'll also get a scoop of white or fried rice with any bowl. Once you've decided on your protein, veggies, toppings, and sauce you bring it to the hibachi grill where it's cooked and served to you. (See pictures)
I'd say the quality of the food is the only thing holding this place back from a full five stars, but maybe it just takes a few trips to get the right combination. Price was great for the amount of food and the waitress kept our drinks full.
Overall a great experience
