Recently spent 2 nights here with my husband and toddler and we were all VERY pleased. We stayed in a double queen room on the first level, the end room with a 'bonus' window. I was very impressed with the room size! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The balcony was large and had plenty of room to relax and also for my daughter to play. It was easy to hear the family in the room above us, but to be expected in a smaller, older property. It wasn't loud enough to be a bother. The pool looked inviting, but still a bit chilly in mid May. You can never be sure with places you "stumble" upon online, but the Beach House was a gem! We'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: First floor offers a view of the ocean, but not the waves breaking on the sand. Still beautiful and relaxing.

We chose this place for the oceanfront rooms. We stayed in room 212, which is just a basic room with no kitchenette. Pros...room is clean, great view, private balcony, fairly comfortable bed, good free wifi, and very helpful office staff.
Cons....sparsly furnished, not enough outlets for our electronics, lacking adequate lighting, no screens on sliding glass door, really crappy coffee, no ice maker other than little trays in freezer, absolutely no utensils or kitchenware except for 2 decent sized coffee mugs.
But...the convenient location and awesome view compensate for the shortcomings. There are workarounds. The office will give you a big baggie filled with ice for your freezer. We brought our own coffee & basket filters, so we had good coffee. We just tried out the coffee that came with the room & immediately dumped it. We moved around their stuff to accommodate ours. The clock was moved from the bedside table so we could plug in hubby's CPAP. We travel with an adapter, so we got all of our stuff plugged in to one outlet. Parking is free and right outside our room. Overflow parking is available aorss the street. The best thing...and reason that we chose this place over another....is the no smoking policy. Smoking is not allow òn the balconies, only òn the front part. With sensitivities to smoke, I can't sit in an area where 2nd hand smoke drifts over.
They do seem to have a other of rules here, but none that really effected us since we are not loud partiers, don't smoke, and didn't plan to bring pets. The office folks are as nice & helpful as can be.

Room Tip: Recommend an oceanfront room on the 2nd floor for the best view, as long as you don't mind hiking up 2 flights of stairs.

Perfect everything, from beachfront location to the most friendly, wonderful staff. The rooms are so clean & spacious, with a large balcony & 2 rocking chairs on them. (we had a private balcony) The entire set up & building is so well taken care of with lots of special touches that just makes you enjoy every second of your stay. They truly go over & beyond to take care of you here. The nicest staff there could possibly be. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. We loved it so much, we extended our stay even longer. If you come to Carolina Beach, this is definetly the place to stay.

Wow just stayed 2 nights in a Queen Suite and how surprised I was to find our room was huge. It had a nice size fully stocked kitchen, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were great. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked each day with soap, shampoo, and towels. The price was right as well. My only complaint was I had to go home.... the staff were all so nice I didn't want to leave. Oh yes I would recommend this Inn.

Hotel was more like a house, everything needed was provided. We rented units 106/107 which is considered the family suite , very big and spacious for family's that wanna travel together or multiple couples. Beach front is nice as well, only downfall is the pool access hours, with kids they typically like to swim at night and do things after dinner but here we couldn't like at other hotels. Other than that it's nice and would recommend
