My wife and I stayed here with my sister-in-law & brother-in-law overnight after a wonderful excursion on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which was just a short walk from Aloft. Our loft (Loft C) was very spacious, with 2 king beds and 2 full baths, a sitting area with flat screen TV, a good-sized dining area with seating for 6 and a full kitchen. One bedroom is enclosed with a door for privacy; the other is upstairs in an open lofted area. And all this spacious comfort came at a great price!
The lofts are right above McClanahans store, which makes up the ground floor of the pictured building. The lofts are entered from the far side of the building, not much to look at from the outside, but more than compensated by the interior decor and roominess. With all the amenities in each loft, it would make a great place to stay for an extended time where you could prepare your own meals. A ride on the GSMR and a visit to their model railroad museum with operating layouts are highly recommended during a visit to Bryson City

Room Tip: Loft C has 2 king beds, perfect for 2 adult couples; didn't see the other lofts, so can't comment on them

We only stayed a night while visiting family but it is great here. We stayed in loft c. 2 king size beds which my son loved!! 2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms but 1 is a loft which is fine for us but might be a little uncomfortable if you get up at different times. It's clean. It's right downtown(which isn't much)
Despite being on top of the store it's very quite. It's very cute. Watch the wood. The 1st the my son did was get a couple splinters in his fingers. Im sure this would be enough room for 2 couples or a family of 4. Parking wasn't an issue but it is hard to carry everything so far. But not a deal breaker for us. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Suggestions: although I like the way the sofa looks it was not comfortable. It was hard to hang out there. And although everything was clean it was in desperate need of dusting in bedrooms(Only here 1 night no need to complain)

I came up and brought my parents. It was my father's birthday and we rode the trains for 2 days. We stayed here for our overnight. The place is exactly what the pictures show. Very spacious and extremely clean and neat. Nearly in the middle of town , you can literally park when you arrive and walk to most everything. Places to eat , shops and the train ride depot

We loved our stay at Aloft! Loved the décor and location. We were walking distance to almost all of the stores, restaurants and to the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Aloft is very clean and had everything that we needed. No fuss with having to bring extra items on vacation. We are already planning our next trip!

Room Tip: There is only four lofts. They are all great!

Aloft was a little haven at the end of a 5 night trip down the blue ridge parkway. Immaculately equipped and stylishly decorated, in a lovely town with a wonderful farmers market where we bought lots of fresh local produce and cooked up a storm in the apartment. Huge comfortable bed and comfortable living area made this one of our favourite places we stayed during a 3 month road trip of the States. Nothing was too much trouble for the understated owners who took so much care to make sure that we had everything we needed. The price was also less than half of that at the Mast Farm inn where we had stayed 2 nights earlier, and in our opinion the accommodation was of a much higher quality. Despite their slick marketing the Mast Farm Inn could learn a lot about genuine hospitality from Aloft. We will be back if we ever get the chance to be back in your lovely part of the world.
