“Great View”
We really enjoyed our stay at this place, enough in fact that we will be going back soon to shop for property. Although a little of the beaten path, this house is within 10 minutes of a great grocery store and several restaurants. The home was furnished with plenty of firewood which was put to good use every night. The view off the back porch was extraordinary and provided plenty of peace and quiet. We would recommend this home to anyone, certainly a great family retreat.

“a stay in the mountains”
A place to get away from the city. Just like living Luther country, but with all the luxuries. The town of Black Mountain was just down the road, a great little town. Asheville was well worth a visit, especially Biltmore estate. Our cabin was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We would stop there again.

the hot tub was enclosed by to many trees, it was overgrown, the canapy needed trimming.

“A Platium stay at Sterling Retreat!”
We traveled with our dog and made Sterling our home base for hiking in the area. The area was great for great food, outdoor activities and dog friendly. However, we could have easily just stayed at the cabin and enjoyed every minute. Well laid out, comfortable and nothing missing. The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfy. We liked it so much that we extended our 8 day stay for another day (and wish we could have done more). We will definitely come back!
