Awsome town. Love that I can walk a beautiful park.Feel safe.See the presents of the police, city workers, people eating lunch at the park and at the outside cafes. People, neighbors, listening to music and dancing in the street. Best Beautiful town in the Carolinas.

Thank Myra B

Stowe park is in the heart of downtown Belmont. There is a nice play area, picnic tables, covered shelter, a fountain, and it sits beside the railroad tracks. A great spot to watch trains! The playground is shaded in the afternoons, but gets a lot of sun in the morning.
The park seems clean & well maintained overall.
There are bathrooms & a snack bar (open on weekends). The park is within easy walking distance to restaurants.
Davis park is located close by & is very nice as well, it offers more shade over the play area than Stowe park.

We had dinner directly across the street at Old Stone Steak house and decided to just walk over to check out the park. It was small but served the purpose as it had a walkway, fountain, kids play area and lots of squirrels to watch! Limited parking.

The kids enjoyed the playground and the hill. There are public restrooms. Great place to relax, play and take some pictures by the fountain. Lots of prom photography taking place here.

This park carries with it fond memories of a past era yet the modernity of today. It is used for festivals, outdoor movies, picnics and many more public or private events. To top it off Stowe Park is aesthetically beautiful year round.
