Centrally located for taking care of business in Yonkers. Easy access to parkways. Clean and feel safe environment. Dinner accommodations was problem. Very professional and welcoming staff. Bar tender was polite and courteous.

The great:
1. Very clean.
2. 24 hrs gym (see pictures).
3. Swimming Pool (kids are happy. Closes 10 pm though).
4. 24 hrs coffee and tea center
5. Free parking
6. Free breakfast (scrambled eggs, potatoes, boiled eggs, yogurt, donuts, bread, waffles, cheese, juice, cereal and milk). But was really crowded.
7. Free biscuits at front desk (supposed to be 24 hrs but they run out of it).
8. TV has very good choices.
9. Patio open to 10 pm.
10. Great bathroom (see pictures).
11. Coffee in room.
12. Well sized fridge in room and a nice microwave.

The not good:
1. Our room (327) had pretty bad scratches on furniture. Looks like there was a dog there. No big deal but wish they fix it.
2. Rooms x27 to x35 look over backside (Ac units). Try to ask for even number or just other odd number.
3. Thermostat was behaving (in our room).
4. Hotel is in middle of no where (walking distance wise there is no where to go). But that's fine...just drive.

Overall great stay and we will return.

Have stayed here on several occasions. Previously very pleased with hotel. This most recent multi-night stay not nearly as nice.

Issues:
1. Shuttle from nearby Metro-North train station was difficult to arrange. As directed by front desk we called hotel from Grand Central 45 minutes before our arrival at Greystone to let them know of our request. Was told shuttle would meet us. Shuttle not there. Had to call 2 more times from Greystone before shuttle sent to us. Driver told us he was never made aware of our request.
2. We were out of room all day on last day. Left in the morning and returned after 11pm. Room was never made up. Front desk could not explain why room was not cleaned.
3. Air conditioner in room quite loud. AC unit seems to be too large for the room as it would frequently need to cycle on and off. AC vents positioned directly onto one of the beds - that bed got very cold.
4. Stayed on 2nd floor. Ceiling was creaky and very easy to hear people in room above walking about at 6am when they got up.
5. Main lobby and breakfast eating area now has loud up-tempo music playing all the time. Music so loud that TVs (which are on at breakfast) could not be easily heard. Difficult to catch weather report. Presumably hotel is trying to get people to not linger in lobby or remain too long eating breakfast. Music was very distracting and not pleasant.
6. I'm a Hilton Honors Member and discussed issues with front desk at check-out. Apparently Hampton Inn's "If you're not satisfied, we don't expect you to pay" guarantee is no longer honored.

Room Tip: Avoid second floor

We arrived late at night and encountered a friendly staff, who had a refrigerator sent to our room. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were luxurious. Delicious breakfast (on the house). Refreshing pool! It felt like a real vacation, not just a stopover.

Stayed here with my future in-laws for my bridal shower. The hotel was lovely and the staff was great. Despite a few small problems, broken ice machine and a loud party one night, I enjoyed my stay overall
