This our third visit to the hotel and as usual the service was great. Great thanks to Anielle for the booking and we were lucky to have our rooms near the pool and not far from the kid's club, bar and restaurant as we have two kids . The rooms were beautiful and may be newly renovated. It was just perfect for us. The bar service was great and there is a great improvement in animation with Bertie leading the team now. As usual the restaurant team with Steve has done a great job. Big claps to the chefs for the yummy foods. In fact it was a great family time for enjoying and a well deserve break. The tennis court is good and my son enjoy well the kids club (big thanks to Rose for for her caring). Our last visit was in April for my wife's Birthday and there was a lot of improvements in term of service and infrastructure since then. Thanks a lot for the service.
It will be great if the welcome drink is replaced by one of their wonderful and tasty mocktails.

Room tip: I like the room next to the pool as the bar, kid's club and restaurant is not far.

Lots of visits arrived at the same time, so reception was rather full - we all had to wait for rooms to become available- we were given a welcome drink and left to explore the grounds. The hotel grounds were beautiful very colourful flowers, nice fountains and well kept. Rooms were clean and tidy - lovely size balcony. Thank you Pratima for cleaning our room.
Pool was abit cold but was nice to sit around. Beach was over the road but there is a crossing and road not that busy - was very nice and quiet always a sun bed available- water sports available free of charge.
Food was ok - each day varied - was all Buffett style, was repetitive after a week, but there were places to eat nearby. We were on all inclusive drinks were good different cocktail every day.
Bar area was nice - could do with the music turned down on one side as it was nice to sit out and chat to new friends we had made during our stay also a few more chairs were needed.
All staff were friendly and helpful - thank you.
We both enjoyed our stay and will cherish the memories especially meeting such fun people in lovely surroundings.

Room tip: Try and get a room with balcony facing fountains.

Me and my girlfriend visited this hotel for 10 nights(11-20 sept 2022) and have to say we enjoyed it,upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, taken to spotlessly clean room(and as promised)view of the sea.
Room was cleaned daily, towels changed daily, nothing was to much trouble, unlimited supply of alcohol(from 11am-11pm),food was plentiful(the place to be if you love a salad),the meals were normally rice or pasta based with various fish, chicken lamb or beef dishes to supplement but we thoroughly enjoyed the meals(desserts put our desserts in England to shame).
There was never a problem getting a lounger as there were 2pools.
Opposite the hotel(as advertised)is a very nice beach (but the better one is in mont choisy which is an approx 15 min walk from hotel. All in all a pleasant stay with staff who went out of their way for you.2 pieces of advice,if going in sept(bring autumn clothing)as it turns chilly in the evenings when it rains(secondly)there are better places to visit than the capital (port Louis)which in our opinion was very run down and seedy.

Room tip: As previously said avoid the capital, bring autumn clothing if travelling in sept,(when it rained heavy during the day it always turned chilly at night),

Very bad experience. The hotel, if we can say so, was full of people. There was barely enough sitting space for some people.. lurring around as soon as you get up to take your seat. The unlimited drink is a false advert since it is inly during lunch time that you have beer and wine. The wine was really bad. The tea break was over when i reached the long queue at 15h50...

Dear davidginop,

We always aim to deliver a great experience and we are gutted when we don't meet expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to bring the issues you raised to our attention. We will use the feedback to make us better and ensure this does not happen again.

That being said, we would like to point out that the tea break is between 15h30 and 14h30 and that, in case you have booked a stay on All Inclusive basis, you are entitle to drinks between 11h00 and 23h00. Wine and beer during lunch time only form part of the Day Package and not the overnight AI stay.

We would like the opportunity to investigate your feedback further. I am presently on a commercial trip and would appreciate if you could contact me next week so as to discuss the matter further.

We would really love to host you back in a near foreseeable future for a positive and memorable experience.

Best Regards

We did not stay in Casuarina but occasionally used the facilities when we were staying in the much smaller boutique Le Cardinal Hotel just a one-minute walk across the road from this ‘parent’ property.
Built in 1973 the resort felt somewhat dated despite refurbishments. With 94 rooms it was very lively whenever we visited.
Lots of facilities, two pools, kids club, large spa, exercise room; shop and several bars so there was lots to do for the ‘activity’ minded.
All food appeared to be served buffet style in large dining areas.
Access to the beach was across the road and down a short path.
A very international guest mix from Europe and Southern Asia during our visits.
It was definitely not our style, and we were grateful to be staying in the quiet luxury of Le Cardinal, albeit at three times the cost of the relatively inexpensive Casuarina.

Dear Travlintone,

Thank you for your review.

First of all, please note the there are 120 rooms at the Casuarina Resort & Spa and not 94 as indicated.

We really appreciate
