We have visited Mauritius many times but have always stayed at the bigger resorts. This year we traveled with a big group of people many of whom were young adults. The stay at Baystone was perfect for them as they were so close to Grand Baie and they thoroughly enjoyed the night life. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly to our large group which often dominated areas when we were all together. The hotel has a range of bicycles which we made good use of and the spa was absolutely world class. The set menu's at night were always excellent and accommodated all tastes. The only slight negative (I guess because of the size of our Group) is the size of the pool area which is quite small. Overall I would definitely go back to this gem of a hotel!

This hotel looks amazing and has all the facilities to be a great place to stay, but the service is terrible. We had to wait 10 mintes to get a table in the restaurant, 15-20 minutes for someone to take our order, and the food we got was not good at all. I
thought chiken curry would be a safe choise, but i was wrong. They also take 50% tip in advance??? Would not recommend this place.

We been there for Lunch only, as we were not staying there ( unfortunately).

Food is just delicious, service is fantastic as well.
