The attraction itself was excellent. The attention to detail was amazing. However, there were no restrooms on the premises. After traveling almost 2 hours to get there, we were told there were no restrooms and had to go to the nearest Stewart’s shop to use the facilities. Ridiculous.
A truly religious experience. Sets were dead on! Worth every penny. Lots of inside stories relating to the filming and production of Star Trek. It will be a definite visit everytime I'm back in the area!
The original series set has been meticulously rebuilt in stunning detail. A must-see for Trekkers.
Would be 5 stars except for our tour guide. Very soft spoken. Hard to hear, especially with another tour going on with a much louder tour guide. He told some jokes and stories that didn’t make sense. And he often started his next part of the tour before everyone else was in the room, so we missed things. But he knew his stuff in explaining how everything was made.
My wife and I had a great time at the tour. It is a guided tour. I signed up for the photo tour and my wife joined with the standard tour. The photo tour allows you to interact more with the sets while they take photos of you with your phone/camera.
The sets are amazing. The attention to detail is spot on and our tour guide passed along info that we did not know. I'm a life-long Trekkie and definitely learned a few new things :)
Once the tour is complete, you will find the gift shop is also part Star Trek museum.
I don't think you need to know a lot about TOS to enjoy this. Just to be "on the set" of the show that started it all is really cool!
A stunning achievement that Trekkies should taks the time to visit. The original Star Trek set has been recreated to a meticulous degree and the tours are very informative. It would be fair to say this is the Star Trek Hall of Fame.
Star Trek Original Series Set Tour is an amazing place, especially when William Shatner is there. Anyone who loves the original Star Trek has to go there and be blown away. The detail is amazing and the sets are complete recreations built using the original blueprints.
