The museum is very informative and highly interactive and they have the only curved dome IMAX theatre in NY, you can learn much about the human body, and the selections in the theatre I saw Everest and it was awesome. Disappointed in the upper mezzanine area specifically the flight simulators of the 5 of them none of them worked and the 1 employee took off when he saw me struggling with one, and their section dedicated to different power generation modes was sadly unsatisfactory as the displays did not deliver.

We went on a school field trip and there was way more to see and do than what we could accomplish in a couple hours....building blocks, play area with tunnels, learning centers about the body and the universe etc...There is a rock wall and an IMAX cinema with surround sound. Definitely plan on half a day or at least a couple hours to appreciate all of it.!!

It has alot of great material. However i feel it is more geared to preteen or lower. Go on weekend or you will have to feed the meter. There is accessibility. We had a great time. It costs to get in so check website.

This place was great. From Earth amd Space to everything in between. There we a Hubble telescope exhibit going, they have an indoor planetarium, a climbing tower and rock wall for the kids. There was just so much to do. We we're there almost the entire time from open to close. They also have the membership that reciprocates with other science museums across the country so be sure to check it out!
