First, it was our mistake to head to the North Fork of Long Island on the day after Labor Day -- everything closed! But that didn't mean we weren't hungry and in desperation tried Rotisserie Smokehouse.
Yep, saw the rotisserie and a good rotisserie chicken is a beautiful thing . . . but their rotisserie didn't appear to have been used in the prior week.
One says "smokehouse" and believes there may be a barbecue . . . wrong again! Not even a whiff of smoke aroma in the joint.
In desperation we decided to try the Mexican offerings . . . the chorizo tacos were okay . . . the chicken burrito was okay . . . the tongue burrito was "ugh!"
The staff worked very hard to be helpful, but the food was, well, we should've seen the warnings but when one is desperate . . .
