This was an overnight stop, but wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about this boutique hotel is amazing. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The position is great very close to the centre, lake, excellent restaurants and craft beer. We will definitely be going back for more than one night.

Dear Meg:
Well, thanks so much for a rave review, and we want to see you soon. No doubt the fancy welcoming was done by Julie, our in-house mother, grandmother and all-around welcome committee (She also runs the place and keeps the books). We hope to see you soon....

This is a quaint little boutique type hotel. It is a renovated house so not many rooms and you can hear other occupants. Not bad if you have decent people sharing the space. We did so it was fine. Private bathrooms in rooms. Beds are uncomfortable but for only a night or two, we survived.

Room Tip: Try to get a room upstairs.

I was traveling alone and visiting someone in Auburn. This hotel was a quick trip away (7 miles, 14 minutes).
I loved my room with its jacuzzi and lush appointments. They even leave snacks in the room for you( no charge). My room was clean, bright, and welcoming. The boutique hotel was quiet, had easy walking access to the town, and was quiet. The staff could not have been nicer.
After driving so many miles it was enjoyable to be able to go walking around town. I felt extremely safe even after dark. People were cordial and friendly.
The hotel is right in town and an easy walk from everything. A block away was a bakery which I didn’t get to sample but did go to Doug’s Fish Fry on Jordan St. (excellent). The lake is just a quick walk away with restaurants next to and across from it. The town is a destination wedding spot and the shops on the main drag were eclectic, unusual, and fun. If you don’t like to shop walk down to a lovely coffee shop with gourmet treats.

Barb:
We couldn't agree more. The Boutique Hotel is a terrific location. And you must to come back to try thr Bakery you missed. They make the donuts while you wait. (I have one on my way to the gym.)

Great location! The room was very clean and inviting and we loved the jacuzzi. The rate is great compared to the other hotels in the area. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.
