The Good:
* Location- easy access to main street with stores/restaurants.
* Room - nice (we stayed in updated rooms).
* Front desk service -professional and pleasant

The Not So Good: good:
* Restaurant - awful, unitelligent waiter full of attitude (young guy). Completely no understanding of hospitality. He never explained buffet, got checks wrong, never came back to table (I got my own coffee). All I wanted to know was WHAT can you order if you do not do buffett. He was really kind of rude and never explained a thing.

* House keeping- we were in elevator and stopped on floor when housekeeping guy wheeling a cart with towels/sheets asked us to please get out so he could wheel in, and then we could get back in. What kind of customer service is this? Any trained staff would state " you go ahead and I'll take the next elevator."

* Parking - they charge? The hotel is already over $200/night and then a charge for parking?

Bottom line- it's fine. But some of the people working there need training!!!

The property is a nice quiet place. A little bit outside of downtown but only a $7 Uber ride if you don’t feel like driving there and parking. The common spaces and the room were very nice and the breakfast in the morning was a plus. A good choice.

Came to town at the last minute due to a family medical issue. The hotel was clean, the service was great and the location was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to families or individuals visiting the Saratoga Area.

I have been staying at this hotel since 2000 and have never been disappointed. I booked a junior suite for our two night stay. The beds are comfortable and the hotel was very quiet considering that they had a number of wedding parties staying at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was a treat. You have a choice of the buffet or having a special order (omelets, etc.). The hotel is a little out of downtown area and is just a short drive into the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: Book a junior suites. They are lovely rooms.

Made a reservation for a king room. When I got there, the only room available had 2 double beds and was an adjoining room. Reservations clerk did throw in a free breakfast, and with some negotiating, knocked $30.00 off the price of the room for the inconvenience. Room layout was not good. Didn't have room for the suitcases. Had to ask twice for a blanket. Room was clean, however, it was apparent that the hotel gets a lot of use.

The major issue was that the deadbolt on the door did not lock. The only lock was the one at the top of the door. Not acceptable.

Room tip: Don't get a room with double beds.
