The place just opened this spring after a thorough renovation of the previous site. We both enjoy Mexican cuisine and make an effort to check out new eateries in the city. This is the latest addition, and the newest to offer Mexican menu. We were very pleased with the attentive wait staff, and even more so with the food. Although the Mexican beer on tap was replaced with bottled version, supposedly due to mechanical problems with the tap, it was OK. The steak fajitas is one of the best we've ever had: a large meaty piece of tender beef, whole black beans instead of the usual mush, and well prepared yellow rice and vegetables that came with it. It was so good, we had to share it. The other dish we had, chicken enchilada, was a generous portion and just as delicious. Both dishes had well balanced flavors and unique in presentation. Indeed, we agreed that this new restaurant, to date, is the best of the selection of Mexican restaurants in Saratoga (4 at last count). Since the place was just renovated, we agreed that the decor is work in progress. We will come back for the food, first and foremost, and the service is also good.
