Have stayed here before when this property was a Holiday Inn, and although a few cosmetic changes have been made since Ramada took over, returning travelers will find it familiar. My reservation was made the day before arrival, and although the hotel was very full, the great staff did some rearranging to secure me a room on the first floor. No elevator here, and a recent knee injury would have made climbing stairs a chore for me.
Property very clean, as was my room. Bed very comfortable, room quiet. Only complaint was that the air conditioner controls on the wall didn't have much leeway, and on a hot humid day, max cool wasn't all that cool. By the evening, however, it was comfortable enough to sleep. Breakfast is served in a large pleasant dining room, and
the hotel offers scrambled cheesy eggs, sausage and potatoes as well as waffles, along with continental fare. There is a bar/restaurant on the property open afternoons and evenings. It was nice to have a cocktail on premise before retiring.
They offer an airport shuttle, and for travelers on a stopover, this hotel is an excellent choice.More
